I've been taking pictures for close to 20 years now (passionately for the past 10) and have always had the strong desire to capture everyday moments that I see as beautiful and/or unique. I love taking pictures of people and nature...keeping them frozen in time/place that when looked back upon, makes the memory so vivid that is seems like it happened just a second ago; to me this is what photography is all about.

Now there are events that take place in every persons life that take on more of a significance than others; Weddings, Anniversaries, Certain Birthdays, etc...all milestones that need to be not only reconignized but more importantly never forgotten. This is what a picture does, it keeps all of those special days/moments accessible...just by opening up a photo album and allowing yourself to live it all over again. What else do we have available to us that affords us such a luxury?

All of these reasons and more are why I do what I do for a living. I get the gratifacation of taking the picture but you get the joy of reliving those moments time and time again.
